Misal Pav

Misal Pav is a popular spicy dish from the western India, made of sprouts and spices served bread or pav.

1 Cup Farsan
1 cup chopped onion
1 Lemon
Chopped coriander leaves
1 cup mixed Sports / Matki Usal

Method: Cook the matki usal in a pressure cooker for 15 minutes.

1 spoon Oil
2 Garlic
1 inch Ginger
1 cup chopped Onion
1 Chopped Tomatos
5-6 piece dry Coconut

Method: In a nonstick pan add oil and other above ingredients and sauté it until the raw smell goes away. Turn off the heat, once its come to room temperature blend it in a mixer make a fine paste.

5-6 Curry leaves
1/2 spoon Turmeric
1/2 spoon cumin seed
1/2 spoon Mustard seed
1/2 spoon Kashmiri Red Chilli
1 tablespoon Goda Masala
Salt to taste

Method : In a same nonstick pan give tempering using the above ingredients.
Then add the masala paste.
Sauté for 5-6 minutes then add cup of water and boiled spouts / usal.
Bring it to boil.
Add salt according to taste.
Cover the lid, keep it in a low simmer for 5-6 minute or until the right consistency.
Turn off the heat.

In a serving plate, take matki usal add some farsan over it, top with chopped onions and coriander leaves over it.
