Mango Rasayani / Rasayana

Mango Rasayani is a sweet cold soup and its made of fresh coconut milk, chopped mangoes, sugar and pinch of cardamom.

Mango Rasayani is a traditional dish during mango season from Havyaka community “Malenadu” Karnataka and mostly enjoyed “Rasayani” with dosa/ dose everyday breakfast.


  • 3 chopped Mangoes
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Coconut Milk
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 4-5 spoon Sugar
  • 2- 3 Cardamom pods


  • In a deep bowl add chopped mangoes, fresh coconut milk, sugar, milk and cardamom powder.
  • Squeeze the mango pulp from the seed and add to RASAYANA ( mango mixture) including seed.
  • Mix well let sugar dissolve and serve with hot dosa/ dose, chapati or poori.

Special note: Don’t forget to suck the mango seed at the last.
