Mango Rasayani is a sweet cold soup and its made of fresh coconut milk, chopped mangoes, sugar and pinch of cardamom.
Mango Rasayani is a traditional dish during mango season from Havyaka community “Malenadu” Karnataka and mostly enjoyed “Rasayani” with dosa/ dose everyday breakfast.
- 3 chopped Mangoes
- 1/2 cup Fresh Coconut Milk
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 4-5 spoon Sugar
- 2- 3 Cardamom pods
- In a deep bowl add chopped mangoes, fresh coconut milk, sugar, milk and cardamom powder.
- Squeeze the mango pulp from the seed and add to RASAYANA ( mango mixture) including seed.
- Mix well let sugar dissolve and serve with hot dosa/ dose, chapati or poori.
Special note: Don’t forget to suck the mango seed at the last.
