Raspberry and Saffron Yogurt Shots

Raspberry and Saffron Yogurt Shots are a healthy fruit and spice flavoured yogurt.

Probiotics, which are a certain type of friendly bacteria, provide health benefits when eaten. This recipe is going help us to strengthen our gut!

Ingredients: For Raspberry Yogurt Shots

Hung Curd – 1 cup
Raspberry – 1/2 cup
Sugar – 4 spoon
Lemon – 1/2

Instructions:

  • In a Pan over medium heat add berries,sugar and 2 spoon water.
  • Cook for 5-6 minutes, Slightly crush the berries, add lemon juice. Cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  • Strain and remove seeds. Let it cool. Store it in a Container.
  • In a bowl add hung curd , If the curd is too thick, add water or milk to make a consistency.
  • Now add raspberry sauce.
  • Beat the yogurt, Refrigerate it for 3-4 hrs and serve with fresh berries and raspberry sauce.


Ingredients :For Saffron Cardamom Yogurt Shots

Hung Curd – 1 cup
Sugar – 2 tspoon
Cardamom-4
Few Saffron strands
Milk – 2 tspoon

Instructions:

  • In a bowl add hung curd , sugar and cardamom powder.
  • In a small bowl add warm milk and soak the saffron strands for 5 minutes.
  • Add saffron milk to yogurt.
  • Beat the yogurt, Refrigerate it for 3-4 hrs and serve CHILLED

Note: To make a greek yogurt: Pour the yogurt in to cheese cloth. Hang it for 3-4hrs, you will get greek yogurt. (or to strain, line a mesh sieve with cheesecloth )
