Ingredients:
- Paneer – 1 cup
- Chopped onion – 1 cup(4-5)
- Coriander leaves – For garnishing
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Cashews- 7 to 8
- Cumin seed – 1 tsp
- Coriander seed- 2 tsp
- Green chilli-1
- Clove-2
- Cardamom-2
- Star anise-1
- Cream for garnishing
- Oil- 2 spoon
Instruction:
- In a pan or kadai heat 1 tbsp oil.
- Add 1tsp cumin seeds and 2tsp coriander seeds.
- Stir and saute till the cumin seeds change color and splutter.
- Now add Clove, ginger, cardamom.
- Now add 1.5 cups chopped onions.
- Stir very well and saute them on a low to medium flame.
- 1 tsp chopped green chilies and 10 to 12 cashews (chopped).Sauté for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Turn off the heat let it cool.
- Now grind it make a fine paste.
- In a same kadai add 1 spoon oil, add grind paste. Stir very well.
- In a low flame sauté the mixture for 6-7 minutes then add 1 cup water and 1 spoon kasuri methi.
- Add salt and sugar according to taste. Add star anise.
- Cook for 5 to 8 minutes in a medium heat.
- Now add chopped paneer cubes. Cover the lid for 2 minutes.
- Turn off the heat garnish with coriander leaves and cream.
- Serve with Roti/Rice.
