Chikkoo Ice cream

This homemade chikkoo ice cream recipe is so creamy and perfect summer treat for anyone.

It’s been many years since I’ve been making many types of ice cream flavours using a churner. But this one does not need an ice cream machine; anyone can make it at home.

Making this ice cream needs a few basic ingredients, and adding a lot of fresh fruits makes it healthy, while adding a banana makes it creamy.


  • 6-7 Chikkoo (big size)
  • 200 ml whole milk
  • 200 ml fresh cream
  • 1 banana
  • 80 gms brown sugar
  • Vanilla essence optional ( i haven’t used)


  • Remove the fruit skin,Blend all ingredients together and pour it on tray.
  • Add chopped chikkoo chinks or your choice of toppings.
  • Close the tray lid, freeze about 7-8 hrs or overnight
  • Scoop it and enjoy

Note: Removing the chikkoo skin is optional, Ice-cream stay fresh upto 10 days.
