Flaxseed Chutney Powder is a traditional nutritious condiment from North Karnataka.
This chutney powder saves you a lot of time and keeps your meals nutrient-rich at the same time. Best part is that you can store them up to 1 month in room temperature or in refrigerator.
This chutney goes very well with dosa/ idli/ chapati and rice.
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 sp cumin seed
- 3 Garlic
- 20- 22 Curry leaves
- 4-5 Red chilli
- 1 cup Flax seed
- 2 tbsp Jaggery
- In a sauce pan add oil and roast the above ingredients- cumin seed, garlic, curry leaves, red chilli, flax seeds.
- Let it cool down.
- Transfer it to blender jar.
- Add salt and jaggery, blend it make a fine powder.
- Store it in a airtight container.
- Enjoy with ghee
