Cream of Mushroom Soup


  1. Button Mushroom -1 cup
  2. Salt and Pepper – according to taste
  3. Whole wheat flour-2 tablespoon
  4. Milk- 1/2cup
  5. Cream – For garnishing
  6. Flaxseed – For garnishing
  7. Fresh Herbs – For garnishing
  8. Garlic cloves – 4 to 5
  9. Smoked paprika powder- 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Thyme stick – 3 to 4
  11. Oil- 1 tablespoon


  1. In a deep nonstick pan add oil( in a medium heat)
  2. Add the crashed garlic , thyme and sliced mushroom.
  3. Sauté sliced mushroom until it becomes soft and tender.
  4. Now add cup of water. Let it boil for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Now in a small cup add wheat flour and milk make a fine batter(no lumps)
  6. Add these batter to mushroom pan,stir continuously.
  7. Soup will be slightly thick.Cook for few more minutes.
  8. Now add salt and pepper and smoked paprika powder.
  9. Now soup is ready. Garnish with fresh herbs, flax seed and cream.
  10. Serve hot.
