Saffron Rose Shrikhand

Recipe :


1 cup plain yogurt

1 tsp dried rose petals

Saffron strands

Sugar – 4-5 sp (according to your taste)

Milk – 2-3 sp


Pour the yogurt in to cheese cloth .Hang it for 2-3 hrs you will get greek yogurt. (or to strain, line a mesh sieve with cheesecloth) (Do not use water)

Add sugar and saffron to greek yogurt.

Mix well. If the yogurt is too thick add milk .( cream consistency)

Keep it in a fridge for 2-3 hrs and serve.
